Special Auctions are Mondays and some Sundays

- Auction concludes when all lots have been put “under the hammer”.
- Buyers are charged a premium of 16.5% (inc GST) on top of hammer price.
- Items are sold at approx. 160 lots per hour.
Bidding:
Either by registering and being present at sale or by Absentee Bids if you cannot attend.
Registering:
Fill in a registration form. You will be given a 2, 3 or 4-digit Buyers Code for that week. You must register weekly. Bids will progress at set amounts (increments).
Absentee:
Forms available at office. Please read carefully and fill out completely including the iterm’s Lot Number, a basic description and the maximum amount you are willing to pay. We will bid on your behalf. The amount you pay will not necessarily be your maximum amount.
Emails of absentee bids results are sent out Monday night / Tuesday morning if buyers have an email address
OR
You must ring the office to find out whether you been successful and you must pick up on time to avoid late fees.
Payments:
Cash or visa/eftpos. 2% transaction fee charged. We do not accept American Express.
Pick up:
Monday’s purchases must be picked up by Tuesday 5pm
Doors close at 5pm, name must be on collection blackboard by 4pm.
Failure to pick up all items on time will result in a late fee of $5 per lot per day.
Canteen (Cafe ‘de Auction’):
Available 7 days a week.
HOW TO BID:
You will be given a bidding card on arrival. Raise your bidding card at the starting price you want to pay and keep it raised until you reach the maximum you wish to pay or until the hammer is brought down.
